The Florida Minuteman Organization's mission is to promote and assert state rights as the Federal Government is FAILING to enforce our Immigration Laws.

The Florida Minuteman Organization's activites includes:

1. Lobbing for laws that work such as implementing E-Verify for all Employers of the state of Florida. Removing the "job magnet" will remove the incentive for illegal aliens to search for work in Florida and thus displace gainfully employeed legal immigrants and citizens.


2. Lobbying for Arizona-style laws that empower Law Enforcement to check an individuals immigration status. Such a law would enable a police officer, if he should have a reasonable suspicion to look into whether a particular person is in the country illegally, and if doing so is practicable, and to detain those discovered to be in this country illegally so they can be deported.


3. Lobbying to stop the practice of birthright citizenship for those born to citizens of other countries who are here illegally. This will prevent illegal aliens from using anchor babies as a tactic to obtain residency and prevents follow-on chain migration. If the parent is not here legally then child is neither entitled to be a US citizen nor able to initiate a chain of family migration to the U.S.


4. Lobbying to stop to illegal aliens from accessing the taxpayer funded welfare system.

By opposing so called “Smart Growth” the No Tax For Tracks campaign endeavors to preserve the higher quality of life implied by affordable housing, as well promote the higher standard of living made possible when adequate roads reduce congestion and thus improve economic growth.

No Tax For Tracks' successful campaigns against Hillsborough County's Light Rail and President Obama's High-Speed Rail boondoggles have already saved the Florida taxpayer billions of dollars. These wasteful, misguided and frivolous projects would have failed to provide the mobility that our economy needs at an exorbitant cost to the taxpayers of today and tomorrow.

Tampa 912 Project--Pasco County Chapter

The Tampa 912 Pasco County Chapter began one and a half years ago as Citizens Protecting the Republic and affiliated with Tampa 912 Project as a chapter one year ago.

The Tampa 912 Pasco County Chapter specializes on issues and candidates in Pasco County. This Chapter of the 912 movement works directly with The Tampa 912 Project and the Florida Liberty Alliance on national and state-wide issues. Pasco County covers a large geographic area and the Tampa 912 Pasco County Chapter collaborates with all groups in the area in Pasco, Hillsborough, Pinellas and central FL areas.

These times provide many critical and difficult challenges that would overpower groups working in isolation. Groups in the Tea Party Movement--a movement we are proud to be part of--are engaged in the grand project of the restoration of traditional American governance. Tea Party groups achive a kind of cross-pollination-- and thus become more effective--when we collaborate and share the lessons learned when we engage the Left and our govenment. The Tampa 912 Pasco County Chapter intends to be a major asset to this grassroots movement.

Tampa Tea Party

The Tampa Tea Party was there at the begining. Our first Tea Party occured on Feb 27, 2009, as just one of many Tea Parties that occured in reaction to Rick Santelli rant on CNBC. Since then, with over 1000 members, the Tampa Tea Party has grown into the largest Tea Party group in the Tampa Bay area.

We support these basic Principles: Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets, Individual Liberties and A Return to Constitutional Governance.
